Position: In-Country Regional Representative (South Asia) – UK University
Gresham Global is seeking a self-motivated professional to represent a leading UK university in South Asia. The successful candidate will play a strategic leadership role, taking full ownership of the university’s regional objectives and driving its growth through student recruitment, academic engagement, institutional partnerships, and brand expansion.

This is an important, hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on responsibility, demonstrates leadership, and can work both independently and collaboratively. You will act as the university’s in-country leader, shaping and executing the regional strategy, enhancing its visibility, and building lasting relationships across South Asia.

The Regional Representative will lead the university’s presence in South Asia, driving the regional strategy for student recruitment, partnership development, and academic collaboration. The role combines strategic planning with operational delivery and requires a proactive, results-oriented individual capable of making decisions, taking initiative, and representing the university with professionalism and authority.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Leadership
Own and drive the university’s regional strategy in South Asia, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
Provide leadership in planning and executing recruitment, partnership, and engagement initiatives.
Monitor and assess regional performance, recommending strategic adjustments to enhance outcomes.

Student Guidance & Counselling
Guide prospective students from initial enquiry to enrolment, offering advice on programmes, entry requirements, and pathways.
Maintain ongoing engagement and follow-ups to maximise student conversion and satisfaction.

Event Representation & Outreach
Represent the university at recruitment fairs, school visits, virtual sessions, and other promotional events.
Plan and coordinate faculty visits, senior delegation trips, and informational sessions to ensure high-impact outcomes.
Promote the university’s programmes, values, and regional brand.

Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement
Identify, develop, and sustain partnerships with universities, research institutions, government bodies, and other key stakeholders.
Facilitate collaborative initiatives such as joint programmes, exchanges, and research projects.
Build lasting relationships with alumni, institutional partners, and regional stakeholders to expand the university’s network.

Agent & Partner Management
Manage educational agents, local institutes, and recruitment partners to align with the university’s objectives.
Monitor partner performance, provide guidance, training, and ensure compliance with policies.
Collaborate with partners on promotional campaigns and student engagement initiatives.

Marketing, Communications & Digital Engagement
Support regional marketing campaigns and outreach strategies to enhance visibility and attract high-quality applicants.
Contribute to social media content and digital engagement initiatives aligned with recruitment and partnership goals.

Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, event leads, and follow-ups.
Prepare detailed reports on recruitment, partnerships, and market insights with actionable recommendations.
Conduct market research to monitor trends, policy changes, and emerging opportunities within the South Asia education sector.

Operational & Administrative Support
Coordinate logistics for events, visits, and meetings, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation.
Provide administrative support to the regional team to enable seamless operations.

Travel & Flexibility
Regular travel across India is required, including evenings and weekends, to attend fairs, events, meet partners, and engage stakeholders.
Ability to adapt work hours and travel schedules to achieve regional objectives and deliver results.
