The Client:  Our client is an iconic  Italian Luxury Brand  renowned worldwide for its sartorial excellence, craftsmanship, and sophisticated lifestyle collections. In light of their upcoming flagship store opening in Mumbai, we have been mandated to source an exceptional   Tailor  to lead their in-house atelier services.

The Role:

This is a pivotal position for a professional who embodies the art of fine tailoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the brand’s global standards of fit and finish are meticulously applied to every garment, providing a bespoke-level service to the boutique’s elite clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

High-End Alterations:  Performing complex and delicate alterations on luxury Ready-to-Wear (RTW) for both Men and Women, ensuring the integrity of the original Italian design.
VIP Fitting Consultations:  Leading one-on-one fitting sessions with high-profile clients, offering expert technical advice on silhouette, drape, and customization.
Customization Services:  Managing bespoke requests and personalizing garments to provide a unique, client-centric experience.
Atelier Management:  Maintaining the highest standards of the tailoring workspace, equipment, and supply inventory.
Quality Assurance:  Acting as the final guardian of quality before any garment is delivered to the client.
Candidate Profile:

Experience:

A minimum of 7–10 years in professional tailoring, with a significant background in  Luxury Retail  or  Couture Ateliers .
Technical Mastery:  Deep expertise in garment construction, hand-finishing, and working with noble fibers (Cashmere, Silk, Vicuña, Fine Wools).
Communication:  Fluent in local languages; a working proficiency in  English  is mandatory to interact with the International Management Team.

Soft Skills:

Impeccable grooming, discretion, and the ability to work under the tight deadlines of a high-traffic luxury environment.
