This role shapes the brand’s technical identity, leads creative direction, builds future-ready hairstyling and hair-coloring expertise, and acts as the central intelligence behind technique, content, trends, and external artistic influence.
The role drives technical excellence, elevates the capability of all education teams, and builds brand's credibility with the larger hairdressing community—including leading industry Hair Artists and Key Opinion Leaders (HAKs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative & Technical Leadership
• Define the creative vision and technical direction for brand in India.
• Translate brand collections, global trends, and innovations into localized techniques, looks, and high-quality executable formats for the market.
• Lead and oversee photo/video shoots, lookbooks, trend collections, technical videos, and campaign content.
2. Product & Technique Mastery
• Act as the technical master for all professional products—color, care, styling, texture, and specialty lines.
• Drive:
o Product testing
o Technique validation
o Usage recommendations
o Safe and high-performance protocols
• Build clear technical guidelines for launch readiness, ensuring on-ground educators deliver the right technique consistently.
3. Technical Content & Knowledge Creation
• Own all technical content development, including:
o Curriculum & step-by-step modules
o Trend interpretations
o Educator playbooks
o Technical bulletins
o Articles, social content, and creative communication
• Ensure quality and consistency across all formats—digital, print, academy, and event content.
4. Capability Building (Education of Educators)
• Train and upgrade knowledge for:
o National Education Manager and Regional Technical Managers (RTMs)
o National Technical Key Accounts team
• Conduct train-the-trainer (TTT) programs, technical refreshers, and advanced technique masterclasses.
5. Industry Influence & HAK Management
• Build and manage strong relationships with Hair Artist Key Opinion Leaders (HAKs) and influential stylists.
• Engage HAKs to:
o Participate in shows, seminars, and digital campaigns
o Test and promote new techniques or products
6. Shows, Seminars & Major Events
• Own the creative and technical vision behind:
o National and regional hair shows
o Look-and-learn seminars
• Lead stage direction, choreography of technical sequences, and product storytelling.
7. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner seamlessly with:
• National Education Manager – ensuring regional execution matches technical standards and creative intent
• Marketing – for product launches, content, campaigns
• Sales & KA teams – aligning technical assets with commercial priorities
8. Governance, Standardization & Quality Assurance
• Build and maintain national technical standards for:
o Technique delivery
o Education quality
Audit technical delivery across regions to ensure consistency and brand excellence.
