Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Vision
Define and lead the overall content vision for each retainer brand, including tone of voice, content pillars, formats, and monthly themes.
Partner with strategy and account teams to translate brand briefs into clear, actionable creative directions.
Shape platform-native content that reflects cultural insights, digital tone, and evolving audience behavior.
Creative Ideation & Execution
Lead day-to-day ideation across static posts, video content, copy-led formats, and mixed-media assets.
Oversee scripting, writing, and social-first storytelling to ensure all content ladders up to the brand’s creative identity.
Identify trends, topical opportunities, cultural moments, and platform innovations to create agile content.
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor, guide, and upskill a team of writers, content creators, and junior content leads.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure shoots and fast-turnaround content reflect the intended creative quality.
Work closely with design, strategy, and social teams to maintain cohesive execution across brand touchpoints.
Quality Control & Delivery
Own the content calendar and ensure all output is timely, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Maintain strict quality control across all creative assets before delivery or publication.
Present creative ideas to clients with strong storytelling, logic, and strategic backing.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Review content performance in collaboration with strategy teams to refine formats, approaches, and storytelling styles.
Stay updated on platform trends, creator culture, internet language, and new social behaviours to keep content relevant and high-performing.
Experience & Expertise
7–10+ years of experience in social-first content creation, preferably within a digital or creative agency.
A strong portfolio showcasing platform-native content across Reels, Shorts, carousels, meme formats, and editorial-style storytelling.
Skills & Qualities
Strong writing ability with a sharp understanding of hooks, pacing, narrative flow, and visual thinking.
Confident leader who can manage multiple brands and teams without compromising quality.
Deep understanding of social culture, internet humour, creator language, and emerging digital behaviors.
Calm, structured, and solution-oriented, able to handle fast cycles, shifting priorities, and urgent turnarounds.
Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to defend and articulate creative decisions with clarity and confidence.
