Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven and articulate Accounts and Admin Officer to perform daily basic accounting work as well as office administration. The person will be reporting directly to the Director/CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, reconciliations, and vouchers.
- Maintain and update all books of accounts per accounting standards.
- Handle GST filings, TDS calculations and returns, and other statutory compliances in coordination with CAs and other tax consultants.
- Prepare and support financial reports, MIS, and documentation for audits.
- Liaise with the company’s external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable; follow up with vendors and customers.

Office Administration

- Oversee general office administration and daily operations, including timekeeping and attendance.
- Manage office supplies, infrastructure, vendors, and service providers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the smooth functioning of office tasks.
- Handle scheduling, documentation, filing, and compliance support.

Must Have Attributes:

- Education:

B. Com/M. Com and/or related graduation.

- Experience:

7-10 years in accounting and administration; manufacturing sector preferred.

Technology & Communication

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to or willingness to learn tools like ChatGPT for document drafting, templates, etc.
- Handle internal and external communications with professionalism and fluency in English.

Technical

Skills:

- Proficient in Tally, MS Office, and accounting software.
- Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.

Soft Skills:

- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and dependable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
- Trustworthy for maintaining business confidentiality.

Preferred Attributes

- Willingness to adapt to a startup-style work environment with multitasking responsibilities.
- Reliable and confident to represent the company in coordination with auditors and vendors.
- Good interpersonal skills to manage office administration.
