Senior Accountant

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. This role goes beyond routine accounting—you will own day-to-day finances, bring structure to processes, ensure compliance, and support leadership with clear financial insights as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, reimbursements, and advances.
Review and finalize vendor bills, customer invoicing, and payroll-related entries.
Perform and review bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities with accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and analyze MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cashflow reports.
Ensure end-to-end GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including filings, reconciliations, and notices.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks for audits, assessments, and documentation.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards.
Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning.
Mentor and guide junior accounting team members, where applicable.

Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
7–10+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a growing or fast-paced organization.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.
In-depth understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
