Analyst – General Ledger Accounting

Position Summary:

Junior A2R accountant  reports to Team Lead – GL and IRA and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for books close for multiple countries in APAC region
Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards
Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes
Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations
Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management
Support Statutory accounts for the countries.
Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries

Preferred Qualifications :
University degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting similar
At least 3+ years of experience of managing accounting (preferably in General Ledger or R2R area)
Knowledge of ERP systems
Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
Strong willingness to learn and develop
