Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax:
Check Form 15CA and ensure accurate TDS deduction, payment, and reconciliation with P&L.
File TDS returns and verify lower deduction certificates from vendors.
Ensure vendor compliance under Section 206AB.
Reconcile revenue booked with Form 26AS.
Prepare Advance Tax computations.
Assist in Tax Audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
Prepare Income Tax Returns and related compliances, including filing of 3

CEJA.
Respond to tax assessment notices and provide assessment details.
Support finalization of books, including preparation of schedules for deferred tax, contingent liabilities, current tax, effective tax rate, and track status of assessments, appeals, and refunds.
Indirect Tax (GST):
Prepare invoices via E-Invoice portal.
Compile data for monthly GSTR1 and GSTR3B filings.
Compute reversals under Rule 42.
Reconcile branch-wise input tax credit with general ledger.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve GSTR2A mismatches.
Assist in preparation of GSTR9 and reconcile with financials.
Reconcile revenue in GSTR9 with Form 26AS and make payments via DRC-03 if required.
Reconcile input claimed till September of the next financial year.
Record accounting entries related to tax payments, input claims, vendor recoveries, and inter-branch invoicing.
Handle amendments in GST registration and LUT applications for export benefits.
Other

Activities:

Prepare tax MIS reports for management.
Drive automation of tax-related activities.
Respond to internal auditor queries.
