PartTime Direct Support Professional Youth Caregiver

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Teach and role-model life skills to promote independence
• Provide supervision, coaching, and encouragement
• Assist with routines such as meal prep, personal care, and medication administration
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
• Help with transportation
• Create a safe, positive, and supportive environment

• Valid driver's license required
• 6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations required (ex. caregiver, nanny, para educator, direct support professional, etc.)
• 6 months of volunteer experience may be used in lieu of professional work experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older per Washington state licensing requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
