As a Phlebotomy Lead at Ampath, you will be at the heart of our Care Centre operations - guiding a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and operational excellence. This role is about more than just oversight; it is about inspiring a high-performance culture where every team member feels empowered, supported, and driven to succeed. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a workplace where people thrive, processes run smoothly, and quality is never compromised.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in the Care Centre to deliver exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Relevant HPCSA qualification or a recognised Phlebotomy or Nursing qualification, with active registration with the HPCSA or SANC.
  • Valid South African driver licence:
    Code

    B.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience in phlebotomy or a similar role within a pathology setting.
Skills Requirements
  • Computer systems proficiency (MS Outlook, Windows, Excel).
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Numerical reasoning; business/financial acumen and familiarity with Meditech and relevant employment legislation are pluses.
  • Passion for developing people and fostering a culture of learning and growth.
