Position

Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who shares our vision to “WOW” both internal and external customers with exceptional customer service. The Loss Mitigations (Collections) Administrative Assistant will work with team members to ensure Loss Mitigations support responsibilities are completed daily. Position is in office with employee expected to work 24 hours a week during normal business hours over 4 or 5 days Monday-Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process skip a pays and extensions.
  • Process past due consumer and mortgage loan payments, charge off recovery transactions and collection fees.
  • Process check by phones, cash advances.
  • Prepare, process, and mail Collection letters including batch letters for Mortgage and Consumer Loss Mitigation.
  • Organize and distribute incoming mail, maintain mail logs, and process all returned mail.
  • Assist with month end reports and status reporting to all investors as needed
  • Create and manage, with guidance from collections managers, department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year experience within a financial institution preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of all applicable regulations that pertain to this position is preferred.
Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.

Salary Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
