We are seeking experienced commercial drivers for our on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company, to help turn the company's vision into reality.
In this role, you'll ensure safety, maintain vehicle readiness, perform software and hardware tests, and represent our client's brand as an ambassador to the public. You'll also collaborate with multiple teams across the company, including computer vision, infrastructure, sound design, strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations.
We're looking for disciplined, team-oriented commercial drivers. This role offers the opportunity to learn about vehicle and personnel operations and to be involved in the operational aspects of autonomous mobility.
Shifts:
- AM Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- PM Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Available 7 days a week
Day-to-Day Operations:
- Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and address maintenance needs.
- Support real-time data collection through basic software operations.
- Document observations, issues, and anomalies during test runs.
- Provide feedback to engineers to improve system performance.
- Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance, and storage.
- Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving for extended periods (4–8 hours per day)
- No recent moving violations, DUIs, or criminal record
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines
- Ability to work onsite in Mountain View and San Francisco
