• 5 years of experience with advanced data structures, algorithms, and large‑scale system construction (e.g., Map Reduce, Bigtable).
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, guiding project roadmaps and mentoring engineering talent.
• Experience developing accessible technologies or working with mobile operating system internals (Android/iOS).
• Experience in reverse engineering, abuse detection, or applying machine learning to identify coordinated adversarial attacks.

The Mobile Ads Security team is the primary defense for one of Google’s most critical business engines. As mobile usage manages the digital landscape, the mobile ads ecosystem has become a primary goal for sophisticated adversarial activities. Our mission is to protect Google’s mobile ad networks by identifying fraud mechanisms, engineering high‑fidelity signals from mobile devices, and building automated, large‑scale systems to neutralize threats.

We operate at the high‑stakes intersection of Mobile Systems, Cyber‑security, and Machine Learning.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
