The Lead Electrician is responsible for overseeing the Electrical team, as well as performing a variety of electrical tasks safely, including installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, testing, repairing, and installation in large commercial projects.

• Oversee Electrical Team to help ensure timely completion of trouble calls and maintenance work orders.
• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical systems, circuits and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Read, interpret, and work from diagrams, blueprints, sketches, repair manuals, and schematics.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Possess knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electrical trade. Must be safety conscious and work safely within a team-oriented environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Willingness to Work at Various Heights:
  The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in elevated environments, including tasks at different heights for extended periods.
• Ladder Climbing:
  Regular climbing of ladders is a required part of this position; candidate must be capable of safely ascending and descending ladders of various sizes and types.
• Utilizing Various Lifts:
  Proficiency in operating a range of lifts is essential (scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other devices) to reach higher areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma / GED
• 5 years commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Skill in using hand and power tools
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Requires 4-year apprenticeship program and/or a current California Journeyman Certification and/or Master Electrician License and/or California Electrical C10 License with five or more years of progressive experience as an electrician
• Medium voltage experience is preferred
• Must have knowledge of applicable federal, state and local safety codes and be able to read, interpret and explain schematics and drawings
• Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders and work at various heights
• Valid CA driver’s license
• Flexibility to work alternate schedules as necessary
• Perform all other duties as assigned to meet customer critical missions
