Job Summary:
We are looking for a human factor who combines expertise in human factors, motion capture data, and basic programming to help design and evaluate how people interact with advanced systems. This role involves running experiments, working with motion capture technology, analyzing data, and helping shape designs that are intuitive and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, set up, and conduct research studies focused on understanding human behavior and performance with interactive systems.
- Operate motion capture systems and equipment to collect high-quality motion data.
- Analyze motion capture and human research data to find insights on movement, performance, and comfort.
- Write scripts (e.g., in Python or similar) to process and visualize data for analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and researchers to integrate human factors findings into product development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Factors, Biomechanics, Cognitive Science, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with motion capture systems, biomechanics data, or similar research tools.
- Basic coding skills (e.g., scripting in Python, Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab) to process and analyze data.
- Solid understanding of human behavior, ergonomics, or human-computer interaction principles.
- Comfortable working in a research environment and handling lab equipment.
