Materials Coordinator – Mountain View

Scope:

  • Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy.
  • Operate primarily out of the Fremont location with frequent travel to San Francisco and Mountain View.
  • Work closely with the engineering team on activities such as “Car‑On‑Bench” (COB).
  • Use software tools such as SAP, Reynolds, Lightspeed, etc.
  • Utilize handheld RF tools to receive merchandise/products into WMS.
  • Conduct stock checks, part‑# verification, cycle counts, and support physical inventory.
  • Consolidate loads as required – pack, re‑pack, wrap product for shipping.
  • Label parts during put‑away, picking or shipping processes.
  • Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
  • Ensure orders/shipping materials are accompanied with proper delivery documents: revised BOL, manual tag, packing slip, etc.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures & safety guidelines.
  • Perform organization tasks to maintain a clean & safe work environment.
  • Cross‑train to learn other warehouse functions.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or stock items & distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Always maintain accuracy and provide required reports, measurements and logs to meet KPI guidelines.
  • Demonstrate expertise in using a warehouse ERP inventory system, Excel, shipping, receiving, safety management, materials handling, data entry and reporting.
Required:
  • Work closely with the engineering team on activities such as “Car‑On‑Bench” (COB). This is the most critical requirement.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, e.g., associates in automotive tech, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body‑shop work, military, or large automobile manufacturers.
  • Operate primarily out of the Fremont location with frequent travel to San Francisco and Mountain View.
  • Experience and ability working with pallet jacks – forklift operation not required.
  • Basic supply chain skills, including inventory control and logistics.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and tables.
  • Willingness to perform extra work during downtime, such as organizing the shop, stacking tires, disposing of tires, and picking up deliveries.
  • Comfortable working as a team member.

Estimated Min Rate: $25.00

Estimated Max Rate: $30.00/hr+ (depends on experience)
