Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and assemblies for demanding challenges across multiple markets.
Responsibilities- Follows production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions with minimum supervision.
- Interprets and works from electromechanical schematics, drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand required parts and steps for the assigned assembly.
- Reads worksheets and wiring diagrams; selects components.
- Performs cleaning, component mounting and parts orientation.
- Performs inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or holding device.
- Uses hand tools and microscopes to place small components on thin-film circuits.
- Performs eutectic attach and epoxy attach under microscope.
- Operates MIC equipment (e.g., die-attached station, wedge bonder, ball bonder, gap welder, bond-pull tester).
- Operates or is trained in automation such as reflow brazing systems and auto wedge-ball bonder.
- May perform other assembly tasks, such as evaluating parts or assisting engineering prototypes.
- Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
- Follows safety procedures for handling flammable and hazardous chemicals to meet cleanliness specifications.
- Follows specified procedures and detailed instructions; ensures quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Records information on production records or log sheets and other report forms.
- Familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office; flexible with working time and willingness to be trained in related tasks.
- Vocational or technical certificate in a related field and 5+ years of experience. US person.
- Good oral and written communication; ability to read and interpret information; teamwork skills.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and instructions; able to work with manual and machine operation.
- Able to work with chemicals (e.g., alcohol, acetone, degreaser, flux) and use microscopes, hand tools, and fixtures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; adaptable and willing to be trained in related jobs.
- Salary Range: $42,800.00 - $57,100.00
- $3,000 sign-on bonus
- Pay transparency: compensation varies based on location, education/training, experience, skills, and position type.
