Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their client's team. This role involves managing a tax credit property with a focus on maintaining compliance, overseeing operations, and ensuring resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in property management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain rapport with residents, staff, vendors, and service providers.
  • Train and supervise assigned staff.
  • Conduct initial and annual recertifications.
  • Respond promptly to resident complaints and requests.
  • Perform daily inspections of grounds and vacant units.
  • Prepare for and participate in compliance audits and inspections.
  • Oversee contractors for property maintenance, unit turnovers, and janitorial services.
  • Process tenant applications (credit, landlord, income, and background checks).
  • Maintain project files and ensure compliance with affordable housing programs.
  • Schedule maintenance requests and annual unit inspections.
  • Ensure payables, rents, and tenant household/income data are up to date in Yardi.
  • Enforce tenant rules and regulations.
  • Submit weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Manage and maintain waitlists.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of property management experience at a tax credit property.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
    • Professionalism, leadership, and supervisory qualities.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attitude: Self-motivated, cooperative, personable, and empathetic to resident needs.
  • Qualifications: TCAC Certification and Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
  • Language: Bilingual a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years performing on-site property management and administrative duties as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager. TCAC experience required.
  • Supervision: Reports to Regional Manager; supervises maintenance, janitorial staff, and emergency contacts.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday

Benefits

Competitive salary with a range from $70,000 to $77,000 per year. Additional benefits may be provided based on company policies and the candidate's qualifications.
