Role Summary

The Associate Project Manager will provide departmental support and contribute to the project portfolio, with a significant focus on Micro‑kitchen programs. This role requires defining the scope, design, and deliverables for micro‑kitchen projects in collaboration with the Strategy and Performance & Micro‑kitchen leadership team, and will report into the Mobilization team. A key responsibility of this position is to enhance the operational excellence of the Food & Micro‑kitchen program.

The Associate Project Manager will utilize their project management and Micro‑kitchen expertise to support the Strategy & Performance team, thereby contributing to the overall success of the project portfolio and business goals.

The great things you will be expected to do
  • Support project managers in the preparation of proposals, presentations, project plans and successful launch of new unit openings and refreshes.
  • Support the administration and version maintenance of team folders, tools, documents, sheets and resources.
  • Attend meetings/calls, offering thought partnership and support to clients and cross‑functional teams.
  • Establish and maintain Project Management deliverables.
  • Attend project meetings including OAC, Project Kickoff, Final Launch Trainings, Project Status, Stakeholders, and PLC Decisions.
  • Work across lines of business, particularly the Micro Kitchen team, with clear and organized communication.
  • Monitor and update project activities against the Project Management Strategy Plan.
  • Ensure organizational standard metrics are measured and reported.
  • Support Project Managers as they monitor, control and provide performance/status reports about project health/performance to the culinary team.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback to the Mobilization Team.
  • Monitor project team health and create a positive working relationship.
  • Demonstrate and reinforce leadership behaviors that support the client and interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Drive culture change through influence and leadership.
  • Work independently while coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
  • Support and own the team in conducting assessments and action plans that motivate, build competencies, safety standards and improve cultural and individual performance and contribution to overall campus wide results.
  • Provide frequent communication and feedback to leadership regarding the successes and opportunities for cultural development.
  • Update and maintain the documents used to communicate SOPs, standards, management tools and training systems.
  • Stay current on operational standards, procedures and resources to provide leadership and optimize business results.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Project management, Micro‑kitchen and customer service experience. Experience in project management, micro‑kitchen, hospitality, restaurant, and administration is preferred.
  • Ability to influence and/or manage team members at all levels of the organization to drive project results, while maintaining a partnership model.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Apps for Project Management, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Gmail.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, with demonstrated excellent follow‑through and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, presentation, listening).
  • Ability to prioritize workload and respond quickly to time‑sensitive requests.
