Position OverviewWe are seeking a mid-level litigation attorney with meaningful experience in trademark disputes, including TTAB proceedings and federal court litigation. This role is designed for an attorney who enjoys written advocacy, strategic motion practice, and adversarial proceedings, and who wants to take real ownership of cases while continuing to grow under senior litigators.
You will handle active trademark litigation matters from intake through resolution — including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement strategy — with increasing autonomy and client-facing responsibility.
This position is ideal for someone who:
- Has real litigation experience (TTAB and/or federal court),
- Enjoys legal writing and procedural strategy,
- Wants to be hands-on rather than siloed, and
- Is excited about practicing law in a technology-forward, high-volume, high-impact environment

- Lead and manage TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings
, including pleadings, discovery, briefing, and settlement. - Draft and argue motions in federal trademark litigation
, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and discovery-related motions. - Develop litigation strategy for trademark infringement, unfair competition, and brand enforcement cases
. - Draft persuasive legal briefs, memoranda, and client advisories on complex trademark issues.
- Handle cease-and-desist disputes
, settlement negotiations, and coexistence agreements. - Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, trial preparation, and appeals.
- Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals; review filings for accuracy and strategic quality.
- Advise clients on risk, enforcement options, and litigation outcomes in clear business terms.
- Contribute to and help refine AI-assisted litigation workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and results.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state (California strongly preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in trademark litigation, TTAB proceedings, or federal IP litigation.
- Demonstrated experience drafting litigation briefs, motions, and substantive pleadings
. - Hands-on familiarity with TTAB rules, federal civil procedure, and discovery practice
. - Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a larger litigation team.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling multiple active matters.
- Prior experience with trademark prosecution is a plus but litigation experience is primary

Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
