As a Principal Customer Solutions Manager you will work with the largest and most complex enterprises in the world, enabling their multi‑year journey to the cloud. In this new, highly visible role you will ensure that all AWS teams work together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer.
Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, using program management, technical, organizational, and transformation expertise to understand their business and strategic goals.
- Translate goals into executable plans and drive those plans to successful outcomes, delivering a great customer experience by deploying AWS solutions.
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, interfacing and influencing among Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, product/engineering teams, and customer teams.
- Evangelize AWS services and influence customers to adopt the right solution at the right time.
- Shape the rapidly growing Customer Solutions Management function by defining and implementing standard processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Provide prescriptive guidance based on AWS best practices and help navigate customers through the operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.
- Think big, invent, and take ownership on customer challenges, proactively helping solve their challenges through new ideas, tools, and mechanisms.
- 10+ years of senior customer‑facing role experience.
- 15+ years of leading complex, large‑scale IT, technical, or engineering programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- Strong technical background with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- Exemplary communication skills at both executive and project team levels.
- Peer leader with ability to gain stakeholder buy‑in and negotiate/lead virtual teams across geographies and organizations.
- Enterprise cloud experience and operational excellence that influence team decisions.
- PMP/SCRUM/Agile certification or SAFe certification.
- Knowledge of key technology and market trends.
- Knowledge of software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience implementing AWS/cloud services.

Base salary for this position varies by location. Your Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
