Overview

Mailchimp is part of that ecosystem, and we are expanding our Product Development Operations team. Responsibilities- Partner with business and technology leaders to execute strategy for one or more key programs across the Mailchimp platform.
- Drive multi‑phase program roadmaps across multiple contributing teams.
- Develop program charters ensuring the scope aligns with business priorities.
- Develop and deliver program plans covering all phases of planning, implementation, production readiness, and support within a cross‑functional program structure.
- Lead through uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines in a rapidly growing company.
- Establish program operating rhythms and lead cross‑functional meetings, fostering teamwork and driving decisions.
- Communicate progress and report status, providing insights across organizational boundaries.
- Manage and track execution to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery by handling risks and interdependencies.
- Promote collaboration and coordination across broad stakeholder groups.
- Partner with product management, development leaders to identify benefits, trade‑offs, and balance stakeholder needs.
- Anticipate and manage resistance and setbacks, fostering collaboration to reach closure.
- Collaborate with other Technical Program Managers to define, socialize, and implement organization‑wide processes.
- 5+ years of program management experience leading multiple well‑defined Carnival‑to‑medium‑complexity technology‑focused programs.
- Self‑starter with ability to track complex details and coordinate with 10+ scrum teams across multiple sites.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; demonstrated success in a matrix environment with influence across levels.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to communicate program goals to engineers and executive audiences, tailoring detail appropriately.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence across organizational boundaries to deliver best outcomes.
- Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, and experience collaborating with engineering teams on complex technology programs.
