Job Description Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The VCA team within Japan provides a comprehensive range of consulting services and solutions to our clients in Japan, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management and digital strategy.

VCA Managed Services members play a key role in enhancing the partnership with one of Visa Japan’s largest clients by supporting strategic planning and implementation of their most strategic initiatives.

What a Senior Manager, VCA Managed Services does at Visa

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to drive consulting engagements and Visa solution sell-in for one of our largest clients in Japan, contributing to strategy and new business development in their B2B business, application of agentic AI, and other strategic agenda.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for the client-facing portion of client engagements and will act as the main focal point, coordinating between the client team, other internal stakeholders, and outsourcing partners.

Responsibilities
  • Drive initiative implementation to enable client’s strategic projects by applying Visa solutions and consulting methodologies, such as clarifying key questions, gathering and analyzing quantitative data, and assisting in developing strategic recommendations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
    • New B2B business strategy development support and execution
    • Application of AI/agentic AI into their workflows
    • Contributing to the sell-in of new Visa solutions and supporting project management activities
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with client managers and key stakeholders to facilitate project execution and ensure client needs are met.
  • Deliver high-quality project outcomes by utilizing consulting and/or product management skills, coordinating with subject matter experts, including data analysts, product specialists, and client service representatives in Japan and overseas.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting their professional growth and maintaining high standards for project deliverables.
  • Develop expertise in relevant subject areas, identify emerging trends, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice documentation.
  • Oversee project setup and administrative tasks, including preparing contracts, supporting internal reporting, and following compliance procedures to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • This is a hybrid position. In-office requirements will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
