OverviewCome join the Mailchimp Paid Media Marketing Analytics team as a Staff Data Scientist. The team is responsible for driving marketing decisions through data‑backed insights and bringing new customers via paid marketing channels. As a paid media marketing data scientist you will deepen understanding of campaign performance, uncover opportunities within channels, and inform marketing strategy through advanced analytics and data science tools.
Responsibilities- Partner across marketing, data science, and research teams to drive comprehensive paid media measurement roadmaps.
- Build channel learning plans to uncover and deliver deep insights on drivers of media performance including creative, audience, partners, and tactics.
- Execute the technical DS components of measurement roadmaps, including data instrumentation, attribution, experimentation, marketing model deployment, and ad‑hoc analytics.
- Track paid media performance against business goals, build channel reporting and data narratives for senior leaders, and guide strategic optimization decisions.
- Shape paid media strategy and investment mix by running cross‑channel optimization scenarios and sizing marginal contributions from incremental budgets.
- Inform the strategic roadmap for marketing science capabilities, including MMM, AMM, and geo experimentation.
- 7+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role focused on marketing and paid media measurement.
- Expertise in advanced statistical analysis, A/B testing, geo/match‑market experimentation, marketing AI/ML use cases including MMM and attribution.
- Practical experience constructing data pipelines and ETL using SQL and Python, and manipulating large complex datasets.
- Strong insight mining and data storytelling skills with a proven ability to rapidly build narratives and drive decisions with marketing leaders.
- Well‑developed business acumen, with proven ability to shape GTM and growth strategy across complex businesses with multiple SKUs or business lines; financial services preferred.
- Experience using GenAI tools to augment self‑service reporting and insight generation capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with applicable plans and programs. The expected base pay range for this position in Bay Area, California is $186,500 – $252,000.
