The AWS Healthcare AI delivers agentic applications purpose‑built for healthcare customers including providers, ISVs (e.g., EHRs), and payers. Today we deliver Health Lake (healthcare data storage, transaction, and analytics service) and Health Scribe (Generative AI service to convert patient‑clinician conversation to clinical documentation). We are building new agentic applications to streamline and power administrative workloads.

Key ResponsibilitiesYou will create guidelines, educate annotation and science teams on these guidelines, and help resolve clinical questions while leading a team of clinical consultants.
You will lead the annotations team through highly ambiguous situations regarding clinical knowledge and content, mitigate risks with sound and data‑driven proposals, and author and maintain standard policies and procedures for the clinical informatics team.
As a mentor, you will provide guidance to medical annotators and influence strategy by identifying and evaluating clinical content, technology, and other solutions to help address customer problems.
Qualifications- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

CompensationThe base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
