About the Investor Role
The Investor position provides an opportunity to establish or expand a career as a venture investor. This role is a three-year program designed for individuals to learn the fundamentals of investing; no prior investing experience is required.
This specific role is for a tech investor with a focus on artificial intelligence and its adjacent fields like robotics or edge compute infrastructure. The role is hybrid, requiring regular in-office days in Mountain View.
Responsibilities
Source investment opportunities: Grow, establish, and leverage strong relationships with founders and investors in our key focus areas.Evaluate early-stage investment opportunities: Conduct thorough due diligence on technology, team, market, and product.Communicate investment cases effectively from deal discussion through deal closure.Contribute to learnings and insights by developing a sharp and informed point of view.Provide a supportive and responsive experience to the founders and builders we work with.Required Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree in computer science or a related engineering field.Highly successful 3+ years of full-time technical experience from industry or startups.Strong domain knowledge in AI, Robotics, or Edge/Cloud Infrastructure.A genuine intellectual curiosity and passion for technology and startups.Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, particularly in the startup ecosystem.Outstanding analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify the complex.Compensation
