- 5 years of experience in executive‑level technical talent search in an executive search firm or in‑house executive search function.
- 3 years of experience in client management.
- Experience recruiting executive‑level Engineering talent from top industry players.
- Experience running full‑life‑cycle executive searches, optionally with a Research partner.
- Experience collaborating with hiring partners to deliver processes and hiring outcomes.
- Experience with executive compensation negotiations.

As an Executive Recruiter, you will focus on identifying and cultivating technical leadership talent who will help build, deliver, and drive our technologies and services. You will use various tools, resources, and sourcing methodologies to uncover and engage the best talent, build meaningful long‑lasting relationships, and match them with leadership opportunities.
You will be a trusted advisor to Google leaders, partner on talent scoping, develop search strategies, and lead engagements to position Google for success today and well into the future. Passion for innovating talent acquisition, prioritizing, and delivering excellent client service is essential.
Google’s People Operations team is dedicated to recruiting the next Googler, refining core programs, developing talent, and creating a data‑driven workforce culture. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $131,000‑$192,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can discuss specific ranges for your preferred location during the hiring process. Compensation details listed reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
Responsibilities- Develop and own search strategies and deliver research against those strategies for executive searches across technical functions.
- Provide effective project management, driving searches forward and creating consistent experiences for hiring managers, clients, applicants, and colleagues.
- Partner with executive leaders on high‑profile technical hires, providing domain and market insights, trends, and talent advice.
- Build relationships for the future with passive applicants and talent.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in the efficiency and effectiveness of systems, services, and processes.
