Overview
AH01 The MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging scans on patients from the 1st to the 3rd trimester, focusing on high-risk pregnancies. The sonographer competently executes routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers, aiding in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
ResponsibilitiesScans in this Department Include:
- NT
- 1st Trimester
- Biophysical Profile (BPP)
- Detailed (Level II)
- Twins, Triplets
- Umbilical Artery Doppler
- Middle Cerebral Artery Doppler
- Transvaginal
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an OB US
- BLS (AHA) certification
5 x 8 Days: (Variable Days)
