What You’ll Do- Lead global revenue recognition policy and technical revenue accounting functions.
- Oversee contract review processes and analyze revenue reporting impacts ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to facilitate the customer contract review process.
- Provide guidance to cross‑functional partners on revenue recognition for new products and services, including recommendations for compliant solutions.
- Oversee the monthly revenue close process, provide staff guidance, and identify automation opportunities.
- Partner with Billing Operations teams to process revenue transactions throughout the month and during month‑end close.
- Manage the revenue reporting package, analyze transaction relationships, and drive optimization initiatives.
- Work with Billing Operations, Sales Operations, Technology Operations, FP&A, Legal, and other cross‑functional partners to implement streamlined workflows and continuous improvements focused on revenue recognition and reporting.
- Understand the sales commission process, contribute to compensation plan design, and review commission calculations and related accounting.
- Build strong relationships with auditors to support smooth financial audits.
- Mentor team members, identifying strengths and development needs.
- Maintain a workplace presence on site 3 days per week.
- Be responsible for global revenue recognition policy and technical revenue accounting positions.
- Oversee contract review processes and analysis, advising on revenue reporting impacts in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Proactively collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to facilitate customer contract review.
- Provide guidance on the application of revenue recognition on new products and services and recommend compliant solutions.
- Oversee the monthly revenue close process, guide staff, and identify automation opportunities.
- Partner closely with Billing Operations teams to process revenue transactions throughout the month and during month‑end close.
- Manage the revenue reporting package and provide visibility into transaction relationships to support decision‑making.
- Work with cross‑functional partners to implement streamlined workflows and continuous improvements focused on revenue recognition and reporting.
- Oversee the sales commission process, contribute to compensation plan design, and review commission calculations and related accounting.
- Build strong relationships with auditors to support smooth audits.
- Mentor team members, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
- Base salary range: $165,000–$175,000 annually, bonus eligible. Pay varies by location, role, and experience.
