We are seeking a highly accomplished Principal Process Architect to join our Core Finance team as a strategic partner and accelerator. In this role you will simplify inherent complexity, champion end‑to‑end automation, and deliver real‑time insights that shift our finance operations from a reactive to a proactive posture.
Responsibilities- Strategic Process Architecture:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for transformation initiatives that align with finance priorities. - Program Execution:
Drive cross‑functional execution of a program from requirements to delivery, ensuring timely, high‑quality, on‑budget outcomes. - Operational Excellence & Innovation:
Lead initiatives to streamline ambiguous & inefficient workflows, accelerating and optimizing operations by replacing manual tasks with automated capabilities. - Solution Design & Development:
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design scalable financial solutions that are innovative, repeatable, and aligned with organization growth. - Stakeholder Leadership:
Serve as the trusted advisor to the finance organization and influence senior‑level decision‑making on finance initiatives. - Analytical Decision Support:
Utilize advanced data analysis to guide executive decision‑making and integrate stakeholder requirements across the end‑to‑end financial journey. - Adoption & Change Leadership:
Champion change management efforts, including communication plans, stakeholder engagement, and training programs to ensure successful adoption and integration of new processes and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with deep domain expertise in financial systems, processes, and large‑scale transformation projects.
- Proven track record of orchestrating large‑scale, multi‑year finance transformation programs and managing dependencies between technical implementations (ERP, SaaS) and process re‑engineering.
- Expert understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) and their application in a systems environment.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable system architecture.
- Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional senior leaders and use data and insights to inform business strategies.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale change initiatives, operate without boundaries, and align teams on business strategy.
- Master's degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, PMP).
- Experience with Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud modules.
- Experience working in technology and fintech industries.
- Formal training and experience in project management and change management methodologies.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on experience, location, and market practices.

• San Diego, CA: $180,000 – $243,000
