SWIUS is looking for an experienced RF Drive Test Engineer to join our team in California. This role is critical for ensuring optimal network performance through comprehensive drive testing and analysis for leading telecom operators.

As an RF Drive Test Engineer, you will conduct field-based testing to collect and analyze RF data, identify network issues, and collaborate with optimization teams to validate parameter changes. You will work with advanced tools like X-CAL to ensure accurate measurements and reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the enhancement of wireless network quality and reliability.
✅ Key Responsibilities- ✓ Perform RF drive testing to capture and analyze network performance metrics
- ✓ Operate X-CAL or similar RF testing tools for data logging and analysis
- ✓ Identify and report coverage gaps, interference, and handover failures
- ✓ Collaborate with optimization teams to validate network tuning and parameter changes
- ✓ Ensure proper equipment setup and punctual execution of test plans
- ✓ Maintain accurate documentation and submit detailed reports
- ✓ Hands-on experience with X-CAL or equivalent RF testing tools
- ✓ Strong understanding of RF principles and wireless network technologies
- ✓ Valid U.S. driving license (mandatory)
- ✓ Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- ✓ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- ✓ Experience with LTE, 5G , and VoLTE testing
- ✓ Familiarity with TEMS or other RF optimization tools
- ✓ Knowledge of network KPIs and performance tuning
- ✓ Strong communication and reporting skills
- ✓ Previous experience with major U.S. telecom operators
