Senior Product Designer

At Intuit, the Quick Books Online Accountant team enables our accountant customers to run and grow their practices, while serving their small‑business and mid‑market clients. We will disrupt the accounting software market by transforming Intuit Accountant Suite to a best‑in‑class, done‑for‑you suite of tools used by accounting professionals and firms of all sizes. As a Senior Product Designer on this team, you’ll create experiences that help our accountants run their practices and do their day‑to‑day work with confidence and ease. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable delivering in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment, with a strong ability to go deep into the details and step back and connect the dots for a more strategic perspective.

• Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end‑to‑end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms
• Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying user‑centered design processes while working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are
• Take ideas and concepts, and visualize them such that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners, and customers
• Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
• Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and prototypes
• Collaborate effectively with other designers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and researchers
• Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
• Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends

• 5+ years of experience in interaction design, product design or related field, preferably at a SaaS company
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human‑Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field
• Experience with designing complex problems, along with a strong portfolio showcasing the skills
• Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas, pushing the boundaries of interaction and visual design craft, and innovating to drive business results
• Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator with expertise conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframe
