Principal Product Manager, Project- Industry Solutions

As Principal PM, you will build an AI-powered 'Field-to-Finance' loop for Construction, Field, and Pro Services. You’ll replace manual back-office work with mobile-first, AI-driven AR/AP workflows that automatically track time, expenses, and materials. Your goal is to give mid-market firms real-time, autonomous control over their project cash flow. You’ll do this by working cross-functionally across teams of data scientists, product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to define and deliver requirements that achieve product-market-fit and differentiation for Intuit’s industry solutions.

• Mobile-First AR Intake:
  Develop the roadmap for field-based billing triggers, enabling Finance to initiate Milestone Billing and Progress Invoices (AIA style) directly from a mobile device upon task completion.

• High-Velocity AP Automation:
  Build 'Field-to-Finance' AP workflows where site leads can capture receipts, code vendor invoices to specific Project Dimensions, and trigger approval chains via mobile, reducing payment cycles.

• Project-Level Cash Flow:
  Deliver real-time 'Burn vs. Budget' visibility, ensuring that mobile-captured labor and material costs are instantly reconciled against project estimates to track.

• Verticalized Controls:
  Implement project-specific financial controls, such as Retainage/Retention tracking, Pay-When-Paid subcontractor logic, and automated Lien Waiver management within the payment flow.

• Integrated Fintech Services:
  Drive the adoption of embedded financial services, such as instant subcontractor payments and project-based financing, to bridge the gap in long-cycle project billing.

• Build and own a quarterly rolling 12-month roadmap to deliver on business objectives.

• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technology synergies are understood and leveraged.

• 8+ years in Product Management, with specific expertise in Project Accounting, Fintech, or AR/AP Automation.

• Mobile Strategy Lead:
  Proven track record of building 'system of record' mobile applications where field data accuracy is critical for financial compliance and billing.

• Vertical Financial Domain:
  Deep knowledge of the Project P&L:
  Job costing, burdened labor rates and Revenue Recognition (ASC 606).

• Mid-Market Capability:
  Experience scaling financial systems for firms managing multi-entity operations and complex, high-volume transaction sets.

• API & Integration Fluency:
  Ability to design how financial data moves between 3rd party field apps and the core IES ledger to ensure a 'Single Source of Truth.

• Customer-Led Conviction:
  Expert at synthesizing 'Inside-Out' (customer VOC) and 'Outside-In' (market trends) data to build a high-conviction roadmap for project-based verticals.
