Quick Books is on a mission to change the game by providing access to services that improve business’s prospects and increase their survival rate. We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our core Invoicing and Quote-to-Cash strategy. This pivotal person will play a critical role in shaping how millions of small businesses get work and get paid for it.
This role requires a seasoned product leader with a strong ability to drive cross-functional and senior stakeholder alignment, exceptional ability to identify and execute high impact opportunities, with strong customer obsession and product sense, and an ability to use data-backed decisioning to drive results
- Set the vision, strategy and product roadmap for invoicing, including building core quote-to-cash capabilities, unlocking net new feature capabilities, closing the product market fit gap, and delivering delightful UX experiences to solve the broad needs of our diverse customer base.
- Own the key success metrics of increasing the number of invoices created and sent on our platform and growing TPV (total payments volume), as well as maniacally focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Define and deliver a compelling roadmap via customer persona sequencing, customer problem narrowing, competitive positioning, prioritized solutioning, roadmap planning, metrics setting, and impact articulation.
- Influence cross-functional teams through clarity of strategy, crisp execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive rigorous prioritization and investment decisions necessary to deliver your team’s vision and roadmaps
- Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the SMB Accounts Receivable experience.
- Nail the execution. Build the best possible solution that balances quality and velocity, pressure test designs, think through edge cases, look for ways to validate the experience is customer backed, fights obstacles in the way of velocity, and manage up effectively and concisely.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with engineering, experience design, analytics, marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to maximize outside the box thinking, and velocity
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. - Experience:
A minimum of 12 years of product management experience; with a proven track record of success in developing and launching B2B/B2C SaaS products, particularly focused on end-to-end workflow and funnel optimization. Previous invoicing and payments experience a plus. - Impact Delivery:
Proven track record of leading complex product initiatives that result in significant business growth. - Leadership

Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies. - Customer Obsession:
Deep understanding of small to medium sized businesses and how they operate. The ability to wear the customer’s hat at all times and be a customer advocate first. - Executive Presence and Influence:
The ability to work closely with Senior and C-level executives to develop product strategy and gain alignment. - Communication
