OverviewAs Identity and Governance product team lead, you will lead a team of PMs responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of a suite of products geared towards enterprise readiness. You and your team will drive the roadmap for Atlassian Guard Standard and Enterprise Posture Management, ensuring Atlassian Cloud meets requirements of today’s enterprise customers. In addition to your direct management, you will collaborate with teams working on adjacent features, supporting compliance and trust, and ensure alignment of vision, strategy, investment, and execution.
Responsibilities- Setting and communicating a compelling vision and strategy for Atlassian Guard Standard and Enterprise Posture Management
- Leading and mentoring a team of product managers, fostering a culture of customer obsession, innovation, and operational excellence
- Partnering with engineering, design, security, and go‑to‑market teams to deliver high‑impact features on time and at scale
- Engaging with enterprise customers, especially in regulated industries, to deeply understand their needs and translate them into product priorities
- Driving adoption and customer satisfaction for Guard Standard
- Ensuring EPM meets the needs of Atlassian developers and end customers as well by staying ahead of the evolving posture management landscape and compliance requirements
- 15+ years of experience in product management
- Deep expertise in IAM, SaaS platforms, and enterprise customer needs
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, release management, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2)
- Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, execution, and measurable business outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strategic thinking and vision‑setting in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment
- Advanced skills in customer discovery, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
- Ability to inspire and develop high‑performing product teams
- Strong cross‑functional leadership and collaboration
- Data‑driven decision making and a bias for action
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate’s skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.
For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $224,100 – $292,575
Zone B: $202,500 – $264,375
Zone C: $186,300 – $243,225
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
