Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview:

The AP Specialist will play a key role in the organization's accounting operations by managing the end-to-end accounts payable process using Net Suite. This position is responsible for accurate invoice processing, timely payments to vendors, and maintaining proper AP records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Net Suite and a solid understanding of AP processes.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process high-volume vendor invoices and employee expense reports within Net Suite.

+ Review, verify, and reconcile invoice and payment discrepancies and resolve any billing issues.

+ Manage weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments to vendors.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice or payment inquiries.

+ Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records within Net Suite.

+ Assist with month-end AP close and account reconciliations.

+ Reconcile vendor statements and research/investigate any outstanding balances.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and SOX regulations as applicable.

+ Support the AP Manager and broader accounting team with ad hoc projects and process improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

+ Direct experience working with Net Suite for AP processes required.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and AP best practices.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
