Reports To:

Direct Reports: VDC Coordinator(s), as assigned
Qualifications- Experience:
7–10 years of construction experience - Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of VDC/BIM experience on construction projects - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience - Software Proficiency:
Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, ESRI GIS Tools, Microsoft Office Suite - Working Knowledge:
Sketch Up and other modeling platforms, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software, Building systems, components, and trade sequencing, Plan and specification interpretation, Subcontractor/vendor scopes of work
- Develop, implement, and maintain company VDC standards and procedures
- Lead project-specific VDC/BIM protocols and execution strategies
- Approve and manage BIM Execution Plans with input from project teams and clients
- Identify high-priority coordination areas and manage model integration efforts
- Manage all project VDC/BIM requirements, including contract deliverables (e.g., COBie, GIS)
- Support preconstruction visualizations and model-based proposals
- Coordinate across project teams, design partners, and owners to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
- Ensure quality control procedures are in place to maintain model accuracy and data integrity
- Oversee BIM Coordinators or perform BIM coordination duties when necessary
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under the direction of multiple supervisors
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal leadership and team members
- Collaborate effectively with design teams, owners, and subcontractors
- Represent BLHI professionally within the community and industry
- Participate in VDC/BIM industry groups and professional organizations
- Demonstrate and uphold BLHI’s corporate values
- Promote professionalism, accountability, and proactive communication
- Pursue ongoing professional development
- Support company initiatives and community involvement
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in office, jobsite, or approved remote settings
- Moderate physical activity including sitting, walking jobsites, and effective communication
- Travel to jobsites as required based on project demands
