An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Service. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, be confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. There is a requirement for a flexible approach to work and an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months, from start date, to cover maternity leave. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The post is based within the Merthyr, although you could be asked to work anywhere within the Merthyr and Cynon region to meet the needs of the Service.

This post is advertised as Welsh desirable. The candidate does not need to be fluent; speaking and listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above is considered an advantage during short‑listing.
