Design Engineer – Medical DevicesAre you a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer ready to make an impact in medical technology? Join a well-established UK medical device manufacturer and help bring innovative products to life—from concept to market.
What You’ll Do:- Design and develop medical devices with a focus on safety, performance, and compliance
- Lead UK-based projects and coordinate with manufacturing partners
- Maintain Design History Files (DHF) and execute verification & validation activities
- Apply robust design principles, DFMEA, and risk management
- Use 3D CAD tools to create and update engineering drawings
- BSc in Product Design, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with regulated medical products and DFMEA
- Knowledge of extruded/moulded components
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, or MDD regulations
- PLM/ERP experience and proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, Creo, etc.)
- Electronics basics and AI‑enhanced design experience
- Work on cutting‑edge medical devices that improve lives
- Full product lifecycle exposure in a collaborative environment
- Opportunities to grow technical and project leadership skills
