Job DescriptionDue to a growing population of special education students, we are seeking two dedicated and certified Middle School Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidates will manage an assigned caseload and provide services through co-teaching and/or resource settings. This position requires strong collaboration skills, instructional expertise, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor an assigned caseload of middle school students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide direct instruction in co-teach and/or resource classroom settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and implement accommodations and modifications
- Collect, analyze, and report student progress data
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and related service providers
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Salary based on board approval salary schedule for the school year.
Positions are for the school year.
