Position Overview:We are seeking dedicated independent contractors to conduct thorough and unbiased home and commercial property inspections. As a Field Inspector, you will be crucial in gathering vital data for clients in the Property Insurance, Facility Management, and Real Estate sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect steep and/or high roofs safely
- Handle and set up ladders and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
- Measure and sketch roof and room layouts accurately
- Evaluate various sized roofs and rooms for condition and age
- Travel to inspect properties in areas affected by catastrophic weather, with assignments lasting 2 to 6 weeks
- Be available for short‑notice assignments and complete tasks as outlined

- Comfortably travel within a 100-mile radius of your home market

- Use additional equipment like 3D Cameras, Drones, and Moisture Meters as required
- Experience in roofing sales or construction
- Background in Property Insurance
- Haag Certification
- Proficient in using a 40-foot ladder
- Reliable vehicle (truck, van, or SUV) for transporting a 32-foot ladder
- Operational laptop and smartphone
- Willingness to travel for work, especially during catastrophic events
- Able to obtain HAAG Certification within 90 days
- Skillful in using technology for data entry and report writing
- Timely submission of quality reports
- Professional appearance
- Valid driver's license
- State Issued Workers Compensation
- Certificate of General Liability Insurance
- LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization
- 1099 independent contractor classification
- Availability to work 7 days a week for flexible scheduling
