The Information Technology Division (ITD) exists to leverage technology to enhance and sustain business processes, public safety infrastructure, and statewide emergency communications to facilitate the accomplishment of all agency goals.
DutiesThis position provides journey level business analysis and advanced technical assistance to the WSP community through the project office.
Our new teammate will be able to:
- Assist customers develop business cases by helping to define and document the primary goals and objectives of the proposed project.
- Elicit business requirements, functional requirements and interface requirements for new projects.
- Document system design and interface flow documentation.
- Work with system architects and the Security Office to develop system architecture documentation for internal and OCIO review.
- Provide business analysis and problem assessment services for the customers and engagement participants of the Project Management Office.
- Test and validate applications and implementations, mapping functionality and fulfillment.
- Document application flows, processes, system interdependencies, and final implementation architecture for inclusion in the IT Library.
- Business Analyst Certification of Training OR (3) years of experience working as a business analyst in an enterprise organization, OR (3) years of experience working with customers in a teaching, training, or communication capacity.
- Three (3) years of experience as an IT professional in an enterprise organization troubleshooting technology issues.

NOTE:
This is not a full-time telework position. Candidates must be able and willing to work in the office and commute to the location. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training and/or probationary period has been successfully completed.
