Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring ARRT or ARMRIT and a WA Radiology Tech license.
Responsibilities- Position is in an MRI department in a hospital setting
- Primarily works independently performing MRI scans and related procedures
- Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, 8-hour evening shifts
- Requires availability for emergency standby coverage off-hours and on weekends
- May include work at multiple locations
- Responsible for direct patient care and accurate execution of provider orders
- Documents patient information in accordance with established guidelines
- Expected to adhere to ASRT, ARMRIT, and ARRT standards of practice
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Completion of required online modules during orientation
- Professional scrubs appropriate for a hospital environment
- Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification
- Active WA Radiology Tech license required if applicable
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to administer contrast and IVs per policy
- Must be able to work unsupervised and follow established procedures
