Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Obstetrics Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join a dedicated team at a small rural hospital, providing vital anesthesia coverage for diverse cases, including obstetrics and general surgeries.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently while benefiting from comprehensive support and supervision 24/7. Make a meaningful impact in patient care, handling approximately 5-6 cases daily in a community-focused environment.
In this position, you will perform a variety of anesthetic procedures in a facility that emphasizes teamwork and quality care. The schedule includes five 8-hour day shifts per week with six night call shifts per month, structured around a 3-month block with the option to extend. Lodging is provided by the client, ensuring a comfortable transition and stay.
Required Skills:
- Valid CRNA certification and licensure
- Proven experience with obstetric anesthesia
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Knowledge of anesthesia protocols and safety standards
Skills:
- Experience in rural or small hospital settings
- Familiarity with a broad range of anesthesia procedures
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to handle a variety of patient demographics, including obstetric, adult, and adolescent patients
Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA, with obstetric anesthesia proficiency
- Prior experience in a rural hospital environment is advantageous
- Maintain current state licensure and certifications
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges within 30-45 days
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and call shifts as required
- Willingness to commit to scheduled start date of May 4, 2026
