Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses to provide services to students at a school district in Mount Vernon, New York.
The ideal candidates will provide nursing services in accordance with established standards of care and in compliance with district policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Active New York license.

• Registration with the NYS Education Department (NYSED)

• Current CPR certification.

• Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing coverage,including sick calls, emergencies, and routine health services.

• Administer medications and treatments as directed.

• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.

• Support school health programs and initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with NYSED regulations for school nursing.

• Collaborate with the school's nursing staff, administrators, and teachers as required.

• Any other duties as assigned.
