Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Staff Educator at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. As a Staff Educator, you will play a critical role in providing education and training to our nursing staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality patient care.

Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, including in-service training, workshops, and seminars

• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, focusing on best practices and evidence-based care

• Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to improve patient outcomes and staff development

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and implementation of care plans

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and regulations in the field of rehabilitation and long-term care

• Maintain accurate records and reports of educational programs and staff performance

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York

• Prior experience in a similar role or in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting

• Strong teaching and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and patients

• Proficiency in electronic medical records and related software
