Occupational Therapist, OT – Progressive Health of Indiana, LLC –
Mt. Vernon, IL

We are looking for a results driven Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic and holistic care in a multi-setting hospital. This is a wonderful opportunity to expand knowledge and experience in a clinical setting! This position will have a special focus on our pediatric patients - background or clinical rotations in pediatrics is preferred!

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients
  • Provide occupational therapy techniques not limited to P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, and dressing changes
  • Achieve patient care time targets, with a general target of 75%+ minimum individual patient care time (unadjusted) in the outpatient setting.
  • Keeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency while being able to provide feedback to the patient for continuous health improvements
  • Delivering care as broadly specified within applicable state practice act.

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor's or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Pay ranges from $38- $52/hour based on experience.
