Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Tele position requiring a DC RN license, night shifts, and two years of Med/Surg Tele experience. Responsibilities Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital setting Medical/Surgical Telemetry patient population Three 12-hour night shifts per week Uses Cerner EMR system with required experience Patient care delivered in accordance with IMC protocols Deliver competent, efficient, and compassionate direct patient care to meet the needs of patients and families Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including admission assessments and system reviews, with timely and accurate documentation Apply knowledge of growth and development for age-appropriate nursing care Must live at least 25 miles from the hospital given updated traveler mileage requirements Adhere to all relevant patient safety, documentation, and quality standards Position requires COVID and flu vaccination documentation Requirements Active DC RN license required at the time of consideration Minimum two years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital required Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired Cerner EMR experience required Physical and legal ability to work night shifts and comply with all credentialing requirements Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification mandated by position Must provide US Social Security Number Must provide at least two supervisory or managerial references from the past 12 months, with one from the most recent employer Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job  P-633760.
