Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS), a leader in software defined, hardware enabled systems for national defense applications, is developing a next-generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Engineering and Manufacturing product and process data. This system will be the foundation of our digital transformation and the future of advanced Engineering and Manufacturing capabilities within the company, including Model-Based Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, and Cross-Discipline Collaboration.

NGMS is seeking a Staff Teamcenter Developer to provide configuration expertise for the Mission Systems PLM environment. In this role, you will be a software development lead working with team members to analyze, architect, design, develop, and test software solutions that enhance Teamcenter. This role requires robust knowledge developing solutions using the Teamcenter Business Modeler Integrated Environment (BMIDE), Workflow Designer, and the Integration Toolkit (ITK), and managing the resulting artifacts in a software configuration control environment.

This role does not have a specific location and may be performed virtually. There will be some travel involved to Northrop Grumman sites.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Analyze, architect, design, develop, and test Teamcenter configurations in an Agile environment.

• Develop and support integrations with other applications required to interface with the Teamcenter via custom-made or in-built APIs.

• Analyze and model data to map between different environments and pillar systems.

• Propose and design development solutions based on architectural guidelines and solution roadmaps.

• Debug problems by working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.

• Perform Root Cause Analysis on defects.

• Participate in code peer reviews and contribute towards the community of practice.

• Track requirements, tasks, and test cases using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops.

• Maintain proper software configuration management using Git.

• Provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.

• Participate in demonstrations and support users as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a related academic is required for this role in addition to a minimum of 12 years of related industry experience.

• 7+ years Teamcenter customization experience, including experience developing workflows, adding/enhancing action handlers, Code level customization using ITK, BMIDE, and Workflow Designer.

• Experience developing software solutions for PLM projects based on the Siemens Teamcenter platform.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor developers of all skill levels.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of system integrations between Teamcenter and downstream products such as Enterprise Resource Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

• Working experience and exposure to engineering and manufacturing business processes such as Change Management, BOM Management, and Bill of Process.

• Experience with Teamcenter integrations for content authoring tools.

• Understanding of concepts related to Teamcenter implementation using the Aerospace & Defense framework.
