Test Engineer

Summary

T2S Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to support the validation and verification of Army Tactical networks and communication systems. This role is primarily responsible for testing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) radios and ensuring API implementation integrity. The ideal candidate brings experience in hardware and software testing, a solid understanding of network and RF fundamentals, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission readiness for tactical users.

• Plan, develop, and execute test campaigns for COTS radios, tactical network components, and integrated software applications
• Create test plans, procedures, and reports that align with requirements and mission objectives
• Validate and verify API implementations according to specifications, ensuring seamless communication between hardware and software interfaces
• Perform integration testing across Army Tactical networks, validating features, data transport, and system-wide interoperability
• Execute software and hardware testing, including regression testing, to identify bugs or performance bottlenecks in rapid development cycles
• Design and implement test setups and automation scripts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of test execution
• Analyze test data, identify anomalies, conduct root‑cause investigations, and support corrective action efforts
• Maintain test equipment, configuration, and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards
• Troubleshoot complex systems involving Linux/
  * BSD environments and Android‑based tactical tools

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields and 5+ years of hands‑on test engineering experience
• Proficiency with test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and diagnostic tools
• Strong understanding of verification and validation (V&V) processes for mission‑critical systems
• Experience analyzing test results and conducting root‑cause investigations
• Experience with Android system navigation and testing
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams and external partners
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with requirements management tools

• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and network architecture
• Background in automated test systems and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing
• Familiarity with RF testing, link analysis tools, or data transport verification
• Familiarity with the TAK (Tactical Assault Kit) ecosystem
• Proficiency with Postman or other API testing software highly desired
• Experience with Python for test automation and the ability to read/understand source code

Compensation: 100-125k/annual (DOE)
